Thermoplastics Laboratory

The Thermoplastics Laboratory is a specialized scientific and technological center for the development, modification and quality control of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). The laboratory provides a full cycle of work with materials: from the creation of formulations and experimental compounds to laboratory testing and industrial validation.

Quality control and documentation

Preparation of TDS, CoA, datasheets and production specifications

Formulation support during production launch

Technical support for customers at the material implementation stage

Individual specifications according to customer requirements

Main areas of activity

  • Development of TPE-S (SEBS / SBS), TPE-V (TPV), TPE-A (COPE), TPO, POE-modifiers formulations
  • Creation of specialized TPEs for:
  • automotive industry (mats, mud flaps, seals, vibration isolators)
  • cable and wire products
  • footwear industry
  • medical and consumer products
  • soft-touch coatings and plastic modifiers
  • Optimization of formulations for cost, recyclability and target properties Import substitution and adaptation of foreign materials to local raw materials

Laboratory equipment and capabilities

  • Laboratory mixers and mini-extruders for TEP compounding
  • Equipment for sample casting and profile extrusion
  • Test equipment for determining: Shore A /
  • Shore D hardness Melt flow rate (MFR / PTR)
  • Density
  • Strength and elongation at break
  • Abrasive wear
  • Thermal resistance and aging
  • Control of color, surface and structure stability of the material

Development approach

  • The laboratory works on the principle of engineering formulation selection, where each formula is calculated taking into account:
  • real warehouse components
  • technological processing conditions (TPA, extrusion, calendering)
  • final product requirements and regulatory standards
  • economic efficiency and stability of production
  • A digital calculation system is used, which includes modeling of properties (Shore, MFR, density), cost and scaling of formulations from the laboratory to an industrial batch.

Laboratory Philosophy

We create not just TEP, but engineering materials adapted to real processing conditions, the market and the customer’s tasks. Each recipe is a balance of properties, stability and economy.
